July 2003, Farmington Hills, MI, USA - CimCore is pleased to introduce a Battery Pack that provides additional portability and freedom to operate CimCore arms for extended periods of time without the need for AC power. The battery pack will be provided as standard equipment on all 3000i orders and will be available with Stinger II orders at an additional cost. The Battery Pack will be supplied with all 3000i orders produced starting August 1, 2003 and will also be available as an option beginning August 1, 2003.

The Battery Pack is a custom Nickel Metal Hydride type battery providing 12 volts and includes short circuit protection for the arm. It has a life of approximately 800 to 1000 charge-discharge cycles. The Battery Pack will power the arm for between 6 and 8 hours under normal conditions. Physical dimensions are approximately 5”x 4”x 2” and weighs 26 oz.
